Outreach to a remote community

A community connected deeply to ours, tied together in many ways over the past years.

Alto Coen is a community that is quite a way into the mountain, about a day’s journey from our town of Shiroles.  It is embedded deep in the jungle and the people of this place we have come to call friends.  They have taught us about sacrifice, hard work, gratitude, service, and they have taught us about God.  Together we have thought of ways to be a blessing to our friends in this place and they have blessed us extravagantly as they welcome us into their homes and work right alongside us.  We have the opportunity to travel regularly, carrying supplies and donations each visit. We have also been able to build many homes in the community, and even a health clinic for the national health system to use when they travel to serve the people there. We have also been able to do a number of construction projects for the local school.
