Children of the Promise
The group of children closest to us that we are purposefully investing in, believing them to be a foundational part of the change we desire to see in our community we have named the Children of the Promise. We meet weekly with this group of about 30 children for a meal, a time of Bible study, games, play, and school help. God has truly met with us as we reach out to these little ones. He has spoken, moved, and ministered His truth in their midst. Alongside these children we have also been able to reach out to our elderly and our neighbors and with them we have been able to learn more about the culture that surrounds us. What a gift it has been to see them learn, grow, develop, experience the beach, amusement parks, pools, and other things for the first time, and above all, seeing them experience God’s love first hand.
