community of faith
These are the people that are central to everything that we do as a ministry; they are the who of each of these ministry programs; they are our accomplices in what God is doing in our community.
The beginning of this can be traced back to the start of Esperanza’s ministry. We really identify our first Alpha courses as the birthplace of our community of faith. It was after these first courses and the desire to continue meeting regularly and growing a challenging one another to live out a Christlike life that this began back in 2014.
We meet together several times a week to share in life, Bible study, prayer and worship, and our favorites – good coffee and good food! The people that identify as a part of our community of faith are the ones that carry out the good work of Esperanza – the ministry to the elderly, the soccer tournament organizers, the Children of the Promise leaders, they are the ones that make the strenuous journey to Alto Coen, and more!.
